Who We Are
This brand started with a conversation between a father and a son.
My dad is an orthopedic surgeon with over 30 years of clinical experience. I’m an ICU nurse. Between the two of us, we’ve spent decades watching what happens when the body is pushed to its limits — and we’ve learned to think carefully about what goes in it and on it.
A few years ago I started paying attention to what was actually in my skincare products. I’d pick up a serum, flip it over, and read 40 ingredients I couldn’t identify. Fillers. Stabilizers. Thickeners. Preservatives stacked on preservatives. Ingredients that existed to cut production costs, not to help skin.
I called my dad. He agreed. So we built something different.
Southeastern Health & Esthetics was founded in 2024 in Charleston, South Carolina. Every product we make starts with one question: what does your skin actually need? We research the ingredients that have clinical evidence behind them. We include those. We remove everything else.
That’s not a marketing strategy. That’s just how two people with medical backgrounds approach a problem.
What we believe:
Most skincare is overcomplicated on purpose. A longer ingredient list feels more scientific. More SKUs feel like more value. We don’t believe that. We believe your skin doesn’t need 40 ingredients — it needs the right 7.
We’re not a lab. We’re not a corporation. We’re a father and a son who got tired of products that promised everything and delivered nothing. So we made something we’d actually use ourselves.
