Age Spots and Hyperpigmentation
Sooner or later many of us get darker areas of hyperpigmentation on our skin. They tend to occur in parts of our bodies that are most exposed to the sun. This makes them more common on the back of the hands and on the face. They are called Age Spots, Liver Spots, as well as Sun Spots. When they get too noticeable, we start thinking about ways to get rid of them. If you are at that point, the first and most important step, is to be sure that your are dealing with an age spot and not a skin cancer. If there is any doubt, check with your health care provider before using any product or treatment. Basically, there are two ways to deal with age spots and similar areas of hyperpigmentation. You can choose to have a procedure done, such as Laser treatments, Cryotherapy, or a harsh chemical peel. These more aggressive options give quicker results, but are more expensive and leave open sores on the area treated for a period of time. There are also topical preparations which can be either by prescription or available over the counter. Some such interventions are more aggressive than others. For those who want a less expensive, over the counter option, but also wanto to avoid the skin breakdown areas associated with more aggressive treatment, we have developed SPOT DOXX Serum. SPOT DOXX is specifically designed for those who prefer a more gradual change over a longer period of time. It uses the exfoliative action of Glycolic Acid combined with the melanin blocking effects of Tranexamic Acid combined with Vitamin C. SPOT DOXX: Gradual, Gentle, Effective, and reasonably priced. Available without a prescription or a provider visit.
